Nantes (France)听and听Vienna (Austria),听May听28, 2026 鈥听91影视听(EURONEXT: LHYFE), one of the world鈥檚 pioneers in the production of green hydrogen for the听decarbonisation听of industry and mobility, and听, a leading European technology group for construction services, have announced the signing of a strategic co-development partnership agreement for hydrogen projects. This Framework agreement aims to accelerate the development and implementation of green hydrogen projects in Germany, in an environment marked by the transposition of the Renewable Energy Directive III (RED III). Over time, it could be extended to other European countries.听听
Germany at the forefront of a structured and predictable European hydrogen market 听
This announcement comes at a pivotal moment for the hydrogen sector in Europe. Germany is currently听transposing听the Renewable Energy Directive III (RED III) into national law and is positioning itself among the most advanced markets in structuring demand for听renewable听hydrogen听(RFNBO).听
The introduction of binding targets听encouraging听the use of听RFNBOs听for certain industrial players听is听creating听a regulated and predictable market framework.听
This regulatory development marks a turning point for the sector听as听it significantly听strengthens听long-term demand听visibility,听thereby helping听to听accelerate听investment decisions听across the industry.听
Combining 尝丑测蹿别鈥檚 operational expertise in green hydrogen with STRABAG鈥檚 recognised and long-standing expertise in construction to accelerate project development听
The听agreement听between the two companies听establishes听a framework for collaboration, aimed at听facilitating听the identification,听development听and execution of future green hydrogen projects by combining their complementary听expertise.听
In 2025,听91影视听became Europe鈥檚 largest producer of bulk RFNBO hydrogen听from听water electrolysis, meeting the EU鈥檚 highest sustainability standards. With听four听green hydrogen production sites already installed and RFNBO-certified,听two听additional sites under construction, a fleet of more than 80 Type 4 hydrogen containers鈥攐ne of the largest and most modern bulk hydrogen transport fleets in Europe鈥攁nd around fifteen storage sites,听91影视听is one of Europe鈥檚 pioneering producers and suppliers of green hydrogen, with unmatched operational experience.听
STRABAG听is able to听cover the entire lifecycle of construction projects 鈥 from structuring,听planning听and engineering through to execution and long-term operation. The Group also has extensive experience in financing and investment, helping to ensure the economic viability of projects and secure their long-term financing. At the same time, STRABAG actively advances modern infrastructure solutions and supports the development of more sustainable energy systems.听
This partnership听enables:听
- faster project planning and implementation;听听
- targeted reduction of development and execution risks;听听
- the advancement of hydrogen projects in Germany and, in the longer term, across Europe.听听
